For over 40 years, ProRooter & Septic has been a household name in plumbing and septic services in Central Valley, California. Everything from emergency plumbing repairs, septic system maintenance, and full system installations to other plumbing services is offered. The trained technicians use updated equipment that enables them to provide trustworthy, quick services to meet the plumbing needs of residential and commercial clients.

Challenges

Regardless of their well-established reputation and long-standing experience, ProRooter & Septic struggled to feature well in local search rankings. Their digital footprint failed to match the status of a market leader, creating missed opportunities in new customer acquisition on their service territory.

The Business Profile on Google was not filled out and was poorly optimized: it was missing key information about services, service areas, and their social network reviews, which remained scattered and unassociated with one another, not reflecting the excellent track record in good customer service.

Other optimization efforts, including but not limited to an uncompleted local SEO of the site, and off-site citations, were inconsistent with Name, Address, Phone citation or NAP.

Solution

The Ranking by SEO encompassed a full local SEO strategy, starting with an audit and optimization of its Google Business Profile. Business information was updated, service-based photos were added, and thorough descriptions of services aimed at the local market were created.

An orderly review management system was put in place inviting happy customers to recount their experiences on the Internet. They also developed protocols to respond to the reviews-singing the praises. 

Local citation cleanup and building take place across major directories and industry-specific platforms for Ranking by SEO, guaranteeing consistent NAP information as well. It also creates location-based landing pages for different service areas in the Central Valley.

Within six months of launching its local SEO strategy, ProRooter & Septic recorded a whopping 156% increase in organic traffic from local searches. Their visibility on Google Business Profile increased by 85%, resulting in a huge spike in inquiries from customers directly.

This company’s online review profile experienced remarkable growth, rising from 45 to 187 Google reviews with an improvement in the average rating from 3.8 to 4.7 stars. This strengthened online reputation and had a considerable contribution to the increase of conversion rates by 67%.
